    Abstract: A sled for straight deployment and recovery of a cable on the sea bottom is provided to improve quality of a received signal by installing a horizontal linear array sensor straight on the sea bottom. A sled for straight deployment and recovery of a cable on a sea bottom includes a sliding unit, a sled unit(30), and a sound recovery unit(40). The sliding unit is composed of an upper plate, a lower plate, a front plate, and a rear plate. The sled unit is composed of a horizontal frame, a vertical frame, and a protection frame. The sound recovery unit has two sound recovery devices coupled in parallel. The sliding unit has a semi-circular shape with partition type reinforcing material to withstand load and maintain the shape so that the sled is stably pulled regardless of deposits on the sea bottom, and is hollow to reduce load of the sled. The protection frame is attached to the front side of the sliding unit to protect an electronic control unit(20) and a power supply unit(21) from obstacles ahead during the pulling of the sled.
