Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for calculating the resource of target detection in radar is provided to calculate the phase difference between channels required for target detection and Doppler center frequency. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for calculating the resource of target detection in radar comprises a sample extraction unit(110) and a center frequency calculation unit(130). The sample extraction unit extracts linear samples satisfying with the linear relation of the first phase difference between azimuth Doppler frequency and each channel of radar. The center frequency calculation unit calculates the second phase difference between the channels and Doppler center frequency of the azimuth Doppler frequency using a linear regression method.
