Abstract: PURPOSE: A hopping group operation apparatus and method thereof are provided to add the group bandwidth of a hopping group to the mapped hopping progression by mapping hopping progression to the value of an effective hopping bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A normalization unit(110) maps the hopping progression of each hopping group using the value of an effective hopping band. An orthogonality processing unit(130) arranges the mapped hopping progression and the each hopping group according to each hopping progression in an ascending order of the mapped each hopping progression. The orthogonality processing unit adds the group bandwidth of the accumulated hopping group to the mapped hopping progression according to the arranged order.
