Abstract: PURPOSE: A circuit for protecting over current of a ringer power device is provided to sense over current generated on a ring output by a current detection transformer on the second side of a transformer, and to cut off the generated over current, thereby preventing component damage and fatal malfunction in advance. CONSTITUTION: A power supplier abandons an input power, rectifies and smoothes the abandoned power, and generates a DC supply voltage. An over current detector(300) detects a current from an output ground of the power supplier. A main pulse width modulator(310) inputs a voltage corresponding to the detected current, turns off an operation when the inputted voltage is more than a reference voltage, and cuts off over current. The over current detector(300) comprises as follows. A current detection transformer(CT2) abandons the current to the second side on the output ground, and detects the current. A diode(D5) and a capacitor(C6) rectify and smooth the detected current. Resistors(R10,R11) limit the detected current.

Abstract: 본 발명은 링 출력 전원 회로에서 링 출력 단락 시에 발생하는 과전류를 차단하기 위한 과전류 보호 회로를 제공한다. 이를 위한 본 발명은 링 출력 단락 시에 발생하는 과전류를 차단하는 전원 장치의 과전류 보호 회로에 있어서, 입력 전원을 유기하고, 유기된 전원을 정류 및 평활하여 직류 공급 전압을 발생하는 전원 공급부와, 상기 전원 공급부의 출력 그라운드에서 전류를 검출하는 과전류 검출부와, 상기 검출된 전류에 상응하는 전압을 입력받고, 상기 입력된 전압이 기준 전압 이상이면 동작을 오프하여 과전류를 차단하는 메인 펄스 폭 변조기를 구비한다.
