Abstract: PURPOSE: A steel of high intensity and high ductility and manufacturing method are provided to reduce the production cost by applying SIMRT process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a steel of high intensity and high ductility with ultra fine grain comprises: a step of processing metastable qustenite steel over 40% of reduction ratio; a step of forming strain induced martensite; and a step of heating in the temperature range of martensite/austenite inverse transformation ending temperature. The metastable is Ni(7-11 weight%), Cr(8-2 weight%), Mn(2-10 weight%), remaining Fe and other impurities.
