Abstract: The present invention relates to a platinum-immersed zeolite Y catalyst, a method for manufacturing the same and an isomerization method of paraffin using the same. The catalyst of the present invention is used in a reaction for isomerizing straight-chain paraffin into branched paraffin, to increase the isomerization yield, thus increasing the cetane number of paraffin and producing a fuel having enhanced low-temperature properties such as viscosity, freezing point and flow point.
