Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a silicon carbide composite, comprising the steps of: heating a PCS of a solid-state to a melted state; dipping the fused PCS into an enforcement fibrous preform; drying the PCS-dipped enforcement fibrous preform; and heat-treating the dried enforcement fibrous preform, thereby providing the method for manufacturing a silicon carbide composite which saves the process time and cost, and is not harmful to the human body and environment.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A heat-resistant composite for preventing gas leakage is provided to block pores by carbon-penetrating into the pores and to doubly prevent gas leakage by a heat decomposition carbon layer and a carbon silicon layer. CONSTITUTION: A heat-resistant composite for preventing gas leakage(10) comprises a preform, matrix, and a first gas leakage blocking layer. The preform has a spray chamber discharging compressed gas inside, and is formed by weaving reinforced fibers. The matrix is filled between the reinforced fibers. The first gas leakage blocking layer covers the outer side of the preform to prevent the gas leakage outwards from the matrix. The matrix comprises carbon silicon. The first gas leakage blocking layer comprises silicon carbide and carbon.
