    Abstract: Manufacturing and testing methods of an anti-phase test block to evaluate a non-contact defect between metal and rubber are provided to increase reliability of an ultrasound test by evaluating soundness and safety of an interface between the metal and the rubber. A testing method of an anti-phase test block to evaluate a non-contact defect between metal(32) and rubber(31) includes the steps of: contacting an ultrasound probe on the rubber surface such that the central axis of the probe is concentric with the central axis of a flat bottom hole(24); receiving an ultrasound signal from the flat bottom hole and measuring the phase and amplitude of the ultrasound signal; and evaluating the size of a non-contact defect on an interface between the metal and the rubber by comparing the ultrasound signal from the flat bottom hole and the ultrasound signal from the non-contact defect.
