Abstract: 정합장 역산(Matched Field Inversion) 기법을 응용한 수동소나용 협대역 신호를 이용한 표적 식별 방법 및 그 장치. 본 발명의 표적 식별 방법은 먼저, 수동소나로부터 수신한 음향 신호 데이터로부터 협대역 특징 벡터를 추출한다. 이어서, 상기 협대역 특징 벡터 및 대응하는 식별 대상 표적군에 대한 DB정보에 근거하여 목적함수 값을 계산하고, 상기 목적함수 값으로 생성되는 3차원 표면 곡면의 광역최고점을 추정한다. 마지막으로, 상기 추정 결과에 근거하여 상기 식별 대상 표적군에 대한 DB정보로부터 표적을 추정하고, 상기 추정된 표적의 유효 속력 및 도플러 량을 분리 추정한다. 이와 같은 표적 식별 방법에 의하면, 숙련된 전문가에 의해 운용해오던 표적 식별 임무를 자동화하고, 표적과 수동소나와의 상대 기동에 의한 도플러 추정 값을 분리함으로써, 실시간으로 견실하고 정량적인 표적 식별 임무를 수행할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A target identification method and an apparatus thereof are provided to automatically identify a target using a narrow band signal for passive sonar, thereby performing a target identification process usually performed by a highly experienced worker in real time. CONSTITUTION: A narrow band characteristic vector is extracted from acoustic signal data received from passive sonar. An objective function value is calculated based on database information with respect to an identification object target group corresponding to the narrow band characteristic vector. A maximum wide area point of a three dimensional curved surface generated as the objective function value is estimated. A target is estimated from the database information with respect to the identification object target group based on the estimated result. The effective speed and Doppler amount of the estimated target is separately estimated base on the estimated result. The database information with respect to the identification object target group is stored in a storage part(210).

Abstract translation: 目的：提供目标识别方法及其装置，以使用用于被动声纳的窄带信号来自动识别目标，从而实现通常由经验丰富的工作人员实时执行的目标识别处理。 构成：从被动声纳接收的声信号数据中提取窄带特征向量。 基于对应于窄带特征向量的识别对象目标群的数据库信息计算目标函数值。 估计作为目标函数值生成的三维曲面的最大广域点。 基于估计结果，从关于识别对象目标组的数据库信息估计目标。 基于估计结果分别估计估计目标的有效速度和多普勒量。 关于识别对象对象组的数据库信息存储在存储部（210）中。
