Abstract: PURPOSE: A cannon launching system using gas is provided to fly heavy projectiles at high speed by directly discharging compressed gas from a gas tank. CONSTITUTION: A cannon launching system is composed of a gas tank(10), a barrel(20) closely engaged with the gas tank, a bracket(50) for supporting the barrel with respect to the central axis of the gas tank, a bridge block(30) having a gas pathway passing through a cylinder groove, a cup shaped piston(40) opening/closing the end of the barrel by sliding according to the gradient of the gas pressure, a needle valve(60) for controlling the gas introduction to the gas pathway, and a trigger valve(70) for controlling the gas introduction from the gas pathway.
