Abstract: Disclosed in the present specification is a fresh water flow control apparatus for a propulsion motor cooling system, which can regularly maintain the temperature of a heated part of a propulsion motor and reduce power consumption of a pump supplying the fresh water to the heated part. The fresh water flow control apparatus according to an embodiment disclosed in the present specification, to cool a motor and an inverter controlling rotational speed of the motor applied in the motor cooling system, comprises: a temperature detection part for measuring the current temperature of the motor and the inverter; a fresh water flow control valve for applying the fresh water to a fresh water inlet of the motor and the inverter to regularly maintain the heating temperature of a stator and the inverter; a controller for generating a control signal to control the opening/closing degree of the fresh water flow control valve according to heating rate of the motor and the inverter based on the current temperature of the motor and the inverter; and a valve driving part for controlling the opening/closing degree of the fresh water flow control vale based on the control signal.
