    Abstract: PURPOSE: An electromagnetic armor and a vehicle protective system including the same are provided to reduce a speed as a metal jet collides with an insulating member before entering a magnetorheological fluid unit by arranging the insulating member on one more surfaces of a second electrode board. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic armor (100) includes an electrode unit (110) and a magnetorheological fluid unit (120). The electrode unit is arranged to cover a main armor of vehicles. The electrode unit includes a first electrode board (111), a second electrode board (112), and a capacitor (113). The electrode unit is formed to previously defend a metal jet (30) of a molding explosive bullet by using the pulse current. The magnetorheological fluid unit is arranged between the main armor and the electrode unit. Magnetic particles reacting to a magnetic field are dispersed in the fluid of the magnetorheological fluid unit. The magnetic particles penetrate through the electrode unit and are attached to the magnetized metal jet. The magnetic particles are formed to degrade the penetrating efficiency of the metal jet.
