Abstract: PURPOSE: A vane assembly, a split type flying object, and a vane deployment method of the split-type flying object are provided to stably fly submunitions separated from a parent munition by reliably deploying and locking vanes. CONSTITUTION: A vane assembly comprises a body(160), multiple vane receiving portions(110), a leaf spring, and a fixing band(130). The multiple vane receiving portions are outwardly expanded from the center of the body. Vanes are built in the vane receiving portions to perform a first folded state and a second deployed state. The leaf spring is coupled to one surface of the vane receiving portions, and elastically supports one surface of the vanes so that the vanes can be deployed in the second state. The fixing band inwardly presses the vanes to the vane receiving portions to maintain the first state where the vanes are folded.
