Abstract: A planetary gear decelerator of low-noise material for an underwater motor is provided to reduce noise and vibration generated at the decelerator by applying high attenuation material to one gear of the planetary gear decelerator. A planetary gear decelerator of low-noise material for an underwater motor comprises a sun gear(1) serving as an input, a carrier(2) serving as an output, and a ring gear(3) serving as a fixed member. The sun gear and the carrier are made of general SCM(Steel Chromium Molybdenum) based material. The ring gear is made of Mn-Cu based alloy material with high attenuation containing 50~70% Mn by weight, 25~40% Cu by weight, 0.1~2.5% Ni by weight, 0.5~5% Al by weight, 0.4~4% Fe by weight.
