Abstract: PURPOSE: A flight simulator video presentation device and a method thereof using a head mounted display device are provided to minimize a physical installation space, to facilitate movement, and to improve the reality of and concentration on the simulation. CONSTITUTION: A flight simulator video presentation device using a head mounted display (HMD) includes a head mounted display (110), a real environment image generation unit (130) for processing a real image photographed from an image input device installed in the HMD and generating a real environment image, a virtual environment image generation unit (120) for generating a virtual environment image including a region in which a dashboard image and the real environment image are projected regarding location information inputted from a tracker. The flight simulator video presentation device includes a mixer overlapping the virtual environment image inputted from the virtual environment image generation unit with the real environment image inputted from the real environment image generation unit and a video processor (160) aligning the overlapped image outputted from the mixer to be presented in the HMD and outputting to the HMD.
