Abstract: PURPOSE: A network simulator and network simulation method thereof are provided to connect to a plurality of real apparatuses using interfaces which numbers are smaller than the number of the real apparatuses. CONSTITUTION: An interface(330) connects to a hub(320) where a plurality of a first real apparatuses(200) are connected using communication lines(310) which numbers are smaller than the number of the first real apparatuses. A packet converter(350) connects to the interface. The packet conversion unit converts the packet of the first real apparatus into a simulation packet. An interworking gateway(370) connects to each packet conversion unit. A virtual node(360) transmits and receives the simulation packets from the interworking gateway using a remote interrupt unit.
