Abstract: Disclosed are a device for controlling the operation of a sower by using an image sensor and a method thereof. The method for controlling the operation of a sower acquires image information of soil in a moving direction by using an RGB camera, acquires depth information of soil in the moving direction by using an IR camera, senses the status and location of soil where sowing is to be performed based on the image information and depth information, and controls the operation of the sower according to sensed results.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a control of an operation of a combine such that the combine efficiently harvests a crop and damage to the crop is prevented and, particularly, to a device for automatically controlling an operation of a combine by using image information on a crop to be harvested and the surrounding environment of the crop. The disclosed device for controlling an operation of a combine comprises: an image obtaining part for obtaining an RGB image about a crop to be harvested and a surrounding condition of the crop; a distance measuring part for measuring a distance between a crop cut part provided on the combine and the ground in which the crop is replanted; and a location determining part for determining a location of the crop cut part provided on the combine, based on the RGB image and the distance. Abstract: PURPOSE: Apparatus and a method thereof capable of diagnosing a malfunction of an agricultural machine are provided to calculate the range of operation patterns of each sensor and perform the malfunction diagnosis of the agricultural machine based on the calculated operation pattern range. CONSTITUTION: Each of multiple sensors (11) senses an operation state of component. An electronic controller (13) controls the multiple sensors. The electronic controller receives a measured measurement value from each of the sensors. A communication unit (15) delivers the measurement value which is inputted from the electronic controller.
