Abstract: PURPOSE: A door collision preventing device is provided to prevent collision accidents with a next vehicle, a column, or a wall when the door is opened. CONSTITUTION: A door collision preventing device(100) of a vehicle comprises a checker arm(110), a wire(120), a guide unit(130), an armature(140), a cover bracket(150), an electromagnet(160), an elastic member(170), a sensor(180), and a control unit(190). The checker arm is connected to the vehicle with a hinge, and the wire is connected to the checker arm and the armature. The guide unit guides the wire by being installed in the center of the wire and comprises a roller(132). The armature is guided by the cover bracket to slide and is connected to the wire and the elastic member. The cover bracket wraps the armature and the electromagnet, and the electromagnet supplies power to stop the armature. The elastic member applies an elastic force to the armature when a vehicle door is opened or closed. The sensor senses the obstacles or objects near the door when the vehicle door is opened.
