    Abstract: PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to improve the energy efficiency by employing heat radiation fins of an elliptical shape so as to make the heat transfer smooth. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger(100) comprises a pipe(10) in which a fluid flows and a plurality of heat radiation fins(20) which are formed on the exterior of the pipe so that heat exchange takes place between the fluid flowing in the pipe and the fluid flowing around the heat radiation fins. The heat radiation fins are formed of a thin metal material in an elliptical shape, wherein the long axis is arranged to be perpendicular to the flow of the fluid flowing outside the radiating fins.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A fin-tube heat exchanger is provided to ensure smooth heat exchange at the fins located in the downstream side of a pipe because bent surfaces gather the flow of fluid to the downstream side. CONSTITUTION: A fin-tube heat exchanger(100) comprises a pipe(10) in which fluid flows and a plurality of fins(20) formed of metal plates and vertically arranged on the pipe. Heat exchange is made between the fluid flowing inside the pipe and the fluid passing by the outside of the fins. Each fin has a first bent surface(30) on an edge and a second bent surface(40) which is separate from the first bent surface.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A louver fin and a heat exchanger having the same are provided to increase amount of heat transfer and reduce a drop of air pressure by forming a dimple on a corrugated part and a flat part with changing a manufactured mold. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger comprises a body(110), a plurality of louvers(120), dimples(130), a louver fin(100), and a tube. The body is formed into a thin plate and comprises a corrugated part and a flat part. The louver is formed on each inclined plane. The dimple is protruded toward an inner side of the body from the corrugated part and the flat part. The dimple has a width along a depth of the corrugated part or the flat part of the body. The louver fin comprises the inclined plane which is gradually branched to a direct path of gas passing through the body. The tube is connected along the corrugated part and the flat part of the louver fin.
