Abstract: PURPOSE: A damper for a connection beam and a connection beam assembly using the same are provided to prevent damage to a concrete connection beam and a concrete baring wall by allowing a damping plate to absorb energy when a horizontal load is generated. CONSTITUTION: A connection beam assembly using a damper comprises a damper(100), a concrete connection beam(200), and fastening members(300). The damper comprises a frame(110) and a damping plate(120). The frame has an opening. The damping plate is fixed to the opening of the frame. The concrete connection beam is arranged between concrete bearing walls(W). The fastening members connect the concrete connection beams and the damper to the concrete bearing walls.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A rigidity-controllable mooring dolphin is provided to prevent damage to the appearance of a floating structure by preventing the exposure of the mooring dolphin to the surface of water. CONSTITUTION: A rigidity-controllable mooring dolphin comprises a support pipe(110), an inner pipe(120), and a mooring unit(130). The support pipe is a cylindrical pipe and is fixed on the seabed. The inner pipe is inserted into the support pipe and vertically moves in the support pipe. The bottom of the inner pipe has multiple holes. The mooring unit is positioned in the upper part of the inner pipe and connects the inner pipe and a floating structure. The rigidity of the mooring dolphin is controlled by controlling the diameter of the holes. As the diameter of the holes is larger, the rigidity is higher.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A parallel shear wall for buildings is provided to simplify the arrangement of bars in a connection beam and to prevent connection beams and shear walls from being damaged by improving the effects of shear walls in absorbing and emitting lateral load energy. The connection beam laterally connects the shear walls to each other to absorb and emit energy due to lateral loads applied to the shear walls.
