    Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic controlling method of the environment of a greenhouse, and a system thereof are provided to calculate the ventilation start point of a ventilation window using the temperature control information and the ventilation temperature. CONSTITUTION: An automatic controlling method of the environment of a greenhouse comprises the following steps: requesting the input of the temperature control information to a user by the growth environment of crops inside the greenhouse; requesting the input of the ventilation temperature information to the user for opening a ventilation window; and calculating the ventilation start point by the inputted information. The temperature control information contains the greenhouse external solar radiation, the solar radiation controlling value, the humidity range, and the humidity control value.

    Abstract: A multiplex environmental controller for a greenhouse is provided to automatically control the open degree of side windows and skylight of a greenhouse in order to maintain optimum inner environment. A multiplex environmental controller(1) for a greenhouse comprises a skylight opening unit(20), a side window opening unit(30), a heater(40) and a controlling unit(50). The skylight opening unit and the side window opening unit consist of motors(21,31) and single elements(22,32). The motor opens the skylight and side window respectively according to the environmental differences between measured inner environment and preset inner environment. The single element is connected to the motor to prevent overcurrent and to sense the rotation location of a motor shaft. The heater is operated based on the environmental differences between measured inner environment and preset inner environment. The controlling unit controls the operation of the heater, skylight opening unit and the side window opening unit.
