    Abstract: A method for forming a sintered powder layer is characterized by making a liquid mixure with proper viscosity of 70-99 wt.% eutectic alloy powder which consists of 5.0 wt.% Mo, 6.5 wt.% Cr, 1.2 wt.% P, 1.8 wt.% C, and the remainder of Fe and 0.5-30 wt.% synthetic resin adding a solvent, spraying it on the surface of an object with an optimum thickness by spray gun, and finally, after preheating it at 300 deg.C for fixed time, sintering it at 1050-1100 deg.C. In the above method, the object can be a carbon steel and cast iron, the synthetic resin can be a alkyd, melanine, and acryl resin with bubble formation inhibitor and stabilizing agent, and the solvent can be a alcohol, acetate, aromate hydrocarbon, ketone, ether, and ester group. This method is applied for the formation of wear and corrosion resistance film on the surface of machinery parts.
