Abstract: An embodiment provides a parking steering assist system comprising an ultrasonic-sensor detecting the proximity of the object to the vehicles; a unit to control vehicle steering wheel; a unit looking for a parallel lot by receiving an image from the ultrasonic sensor; and controlling a steering angle through the cooperative control with the controlling vehicle steering wheel unit moving the vehicles. Therefore, the present invention reduces the number of shifting gears and the hours of operating the system which the drivers have to operate by changing the wheel trace depending on the different sizes of the parking lot when the vehicle moves out from the parallel parking lot.
