Abstract: Cold rolling oil composition for steel sheet comprises cold rolling oil and cationic high mol. wt. compound and 0.1-5% of nonionic surfactant of HLB value 12 or more, as emulsifying and dispersing agents. Nonionic surfactant comprises polyoxyethylene alkylether, polyoxyethylene alkylphenylether, polyoxyethylene alkylester, or polyoxyethylene sorbitan alkylester. Cationic compound comprises a salt of organic or inorganic acid. Rolling oil comprises on animal-, vegetable-, or mineral oil or synthetic ester. The oil has excellent lubricity, lubrication stability, and fresh oil replenishing property.
