Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an Opuntia humifusa root extract for anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, and treatment or prevention of cancer, wherein the anti-oxidative and anti-cancer effects are superior. The Opuntia humifusa root extract is a fraction obtained by extracting the Opuntia humifusa root with methanol or ethanol and fractionating the extract again with ethyl acetate.
