Abstract: 본 발명은 세신 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 우울증의 예방 및 치료를 위한 조성물에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는 본 발명의 세신 추출물은 생쥐의 강제수영법(Fored swimming test) 및 꼬리 현수 실험법(Tail suspension test)으로 항우울증 효과를 확인한 바, 기존의 우울증 치료제에 비하여 강력하게 우울증을 억제시킴을 확인하였으므로, 우울증의 예방 및 치료에 유용한 약학조성물 및 건강기능식품에 이용될 수 있다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Asarum heterotropoides as an active ingredient for preventing or treating depression. More specifically, the Asarum heterotropoides extract of the present invention is confirmed to have antidepressant effect, via forced swimming test and tail suspension test of mice, which strongly suppresses depression compared to a conventional antidepressant; thereby can be used for a pharmaceutical composition and a functional health food for preventing or treating depression.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing an essential oil fraction from Apricot kernel, which strongly suppresses tyrosinase activities, is provided to ensure excellent effect of essential ingredients, and to produce high quality cosmetic product. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an essential oil fraction containing a large amount of essential oil ingredients comprises: a step of adding water, C1-C4 alcohol, or a mixture thereof to Apricot kernel and extracting an essential oil extract containing a large amount of essential oil ingredients using a Clevenger type apparatus; a step of completely removing a water ingredient from the extract; a step of shielding the light and stirring at 0-100 deg. C for 10 minutes to 4 hours to remove moisture; and a step of filtering the extract and removing foreign materials. A cosmetic composition for skin whitening contains the essential oil fraction as an active ingredient. Abstract: The present invention relates to an aroma oil composition and a cosmetic composition comprising an essential oil fraction from asaroum for preventing and reducing a body fact and cellulite, and a cosmetic composition for preventing and treating depression and, more specifically, the asaroum of the present invention is proved to have an antidepressant effect by a fored swimming test and a tail suspension test on a mouse, and thus more strongly inhibits the depression than an existing antidepressant, to be used for an aroma oil composition and a cosmetic composition for preventing and reducing depression.
