Abstract: PURPOSE: A video contents providing system and an animation contents providing method using the same using an LMS to a portable terminal are provided to reproduce the animation contents by transmitting the animation contents to the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An M-LMS server(100) supplies moving picture contents to a user. A portable terminal(200) reproduces the moving picture contents offered from the M-LMS server. A streaming server(300) is connected to the M-LMS server and the portable terminal. The streaming server changes the moving picture contents through a dedicated protocol. The portable terminal mounts an RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol) player for the regeneration of the moving picture contents.
