The insulating box of the No. 96 type LNG storing tank includes a plurality of horizontal members; and a plurality of vertical members arranged between the horizontal members. At least one among the horizontal and vertical members is manufactured by plywood in which a carbon fabric reinforcing layer is formed between wooden plates.
