Abstract: PURPOSE: A water cannon is provided to reduce rebound against the shooting of water through hydraulic shock absorbers and supports. CONSTITUTION: A water cannon comprises a barrel, a shock absorbing unit(2), and a supporting unit. The barrel comprises a plurality of backward reaction compensating holes(12) formed in a closed rear plate(11), an external protrusion(13) on the front side thereof, front and rear water canisters(4,5), and charge(6). A fuse head line(61) is connected to the charge and led to the back side by passing through the backward reaction compensating holes. The shock absorbing unit comprises a shock absorbing body(21) surrounding the barrel, a shock absorbing ring(22) supporting the backside of the protrusion of the barrel, and a plurality of hydraulic shock absorbers(23) which are inserted at regular intervals on the front side of the shock absorbing body and comprise rods(232) connected to the periphery of the shock absorbing ring. The supporting unit is installed under the shock absorbing body and supports the shock absorbing unit on the ground.
