Abstract: A method for discrimination of rice cultivar using primer combination is provided to reduce PCR processes using a plurality of primers at the same time and to lower error generation probability by adopting an automation system, and to minimize labor power. Primer combination for discrimination of rice cultivar, usable for a single PCR interactant at the same time, includes primer sets of 9 including a base sequence of a sequence number 20 or 3. The primer sets of 9 amplify each PCR interactant of different size. A method for discrimination of the rice cultivar comprises the following steps of: performing a PCR in real time using a marker composition; confirming the size of the PCR by detecting fluorescent materials with an automatic genetic analyzer; and distinguishing the rice cultivar according to the size of the PCR.

Abstract: A real time multiplex polymerase chain reaction is provided to minimize faults by operating the reaction automatically and to analyze and collect data by analyzing species of rice plants with a plurality of markers at the same time. A marker composition distinguishing species of rice plants includes a set of makers including two primers and one probe two or more. A method for distinguishing species of rice plants using marker sets for a plurality of species of the rice plants comprises the following steps of: performing a PCR in real time with DNA extracted from the rice plants using the marker composition; confirming PCR amplification by sets of makers after detecting fluorescent material peak obtained from a result of the PCR; and distinguishing the species of the rice plants according to amplification of the PCR.
