Abstract: A weighting and draining crossing type rain gauge is provided to improve the accuracy of rain amount by reducing the time error due to draining time and the error due to the exchange of a cup. A weighting and draining crossing type rain gauge comprises first and second water tanks(130) whose upper end is opened and which have a drain hole at the lower end; a rain supply part(120) which supplies rain selectively to any one of the two water tanks for a certain time; a rain discharge part(126) which is connected with the both ends of the rain supply part to open the drain hole of the other water tank where rain is not supplied; a measurement part(140) which measures the rain amount of the first and second water tanks, respectively; and a data storage part(150) which stores the rain amount data measured at the measurement part in real time.

Abstract: An automatic ice particle image capturer for weather modification tests is provided to be usable permanently while sampling a large amount of ice particles easily.
