Abstract: An ignition apparatus of hygroscopic flare is provided to perform weather modification test with simple process and low cost, and to be capable of controlling the discharge amount and direction of rain(snow) seeds. The ignition apparatus of hygroscopic flare for weather modification test ignites hygroscopic flare and sprays into air so as to sprinkle rain(snow) seeds, and includes: a body part(100) equipped with a mounting plate(110) so that the hygroscopic flare is loaded into a hole formed therein; a power supply part for applying electric power to each hygroscopic flare, which is installed on one side inside the body part(100); a blower(108) for controlling the discharge of ignited hygroscopic flare upon combustion, which is installed on one side of circumferential surface of the body part(100); and a mobile stand(120) for holding both sides of the circumferential surface of the body part(100) in a fixed state.
