    Abstract: PURPOSE: Staphylococcus pasteuri RSP-1 which suppresses growth of harmful bacteria, especially antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus RSP-1 is provided to reduce loss of agricultural products, and to effectively control antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: Staphylococcus pasteuri RSP-1(KACC 91660P) is provided. Probiotics contains the strain, a culture liquid or culture thereof, or antagonist isolated from the culture liquid or the culture. A method for isolating the antagonist from the strain comprises: a step of culturing the strain and centrifuging to collect a culture supernatant; a step of adding hydrophobic resin to the supernatant and adsorbing at 20-25 deg. C for 6-10 hours; a step of removing the unabsorbed residual supernatant and washing; a step of diluting with 70% 2-propanol containing 0.1% TFA; and a step of distilling diluted liquid, suspending in Tris-Cl buffer(pH 6-9) and isolating antagonist.
