Abstract: 옹기의 무게를 줄이고, 겉보기 밀도를 조절하며 나아가 적절한 강도를 확보하는 옹기 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다. 그 옹기는 점토 50 내지 95 중량부 및 점토에 혼합되며 열에 의하여 분위기 가스와 화학 반응하여 가스를 발생하는 5 내지 50 중량부의 SiC분말을 포함한다. 위의 혼합물을 소정의 형태로 성형하고 성형된 혼합물을 자연건조한 후, 950 내지 1300℃ 온도의 가열로에서 5 내지 12시간 동안 소성하여 옹기를 제조한다.

Abstract: An earthenware filter and a filter system using the same are provided to filter fluid conveniently and efficiently by using the earthenware filter which is applied for various fields corresponding to the fluid of various shapes. An earthenware filter system including SiC powder includes an inlet(100), a plurality of earthenware filter part, and an outlet(112). The inlet supplies fluid to be filtered in the earthenware filter part. The earthenware filter part is connected with the inlet. The number and size of pores are arranged according to the content of SiC powder generating gas. The earthenware is connected with the inlet, and includes 50 ~ 95 parts by weight of clay and 5 ~ 50 parts by weight of the SiC powder. The outlet discharges the filtered fluid from the earthenware filter part. The earthenware filter part includes a plurality of earthenware filters(106,108).

Abstract: A method for manufacturing porous pottery containing silicon carbide powder is provided to adjust the content of SiC powder to control the number of pores and their sizes formed on pottery, thereby enabling to control the apparent density and weight of the pottery. A method for manufacturing porous pottery containing silicon carbide powder comprises: a first step of mixing 50-95 parts of clay and 5-50 parts of SiC powder, which reacts to ambient gas and generates gas; a second step of molding the mixture in a predetermined shape; a third step of naturally drying the moldings; and a fourth step of sintering the moldings in a furnace within a temperature range of 950 - 1300°C through 5-12 hours.
