Abstract: The present invention relates to a filtering apparatus comprising a filtering tank including an inner space for containing raw water to be treated and a partition having a plurality of passing holes penetrating vertically which divides the inner space into a first inner space and a second inner space; a filter media layer arranged on the partition; a raw water supply part for supplying the raw water to be treated to the first inner space; a first backwashing water supply part for supplying washing water to the filter media layer from an outlet arranged at the lower part of the filtering tank to wash the filer media layer; and a second backwashing water supply part installed in the filter media layer to supply washing water to the filter media layer. The filtering apparatus according to the present invention can improve the efficiency of the filtering apparatus by increasing the filtering efficiency of the filter media layer because the filtering apparatus can not only conduct a process for filtering the raw water to be treated but also conduct a backwashing process for washing foreign materials remaining in the filter media layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A manhole assembly for a filtering tank is provided to increase the washing efficiency and reusing rate of a filtering material and to prevent the corrosion and decomposition of the filtering material. CONSTITUTION: A manhole assembly for a filtering tank comprises a manhole main body, a covering unit (140), a fastening unit, and a packing unit. The manhole assembly comprises a protruding unit and a first flange which is expanded from the cross section of the protruding unit. The protruding unit is protruded to the external side of the filtering tank by being fused with an open hole formed on the outer circumference of the filtering tank and comprises a hollow part which is in connection with the filtering tank. The covering unit is combined with the manhole main body in order to close the hollow part. The fastening unit allows the manhole main body to be adjacently combined with the covering unit. The packing unit prevents raw water to be treated from being leaked between the manhole main body and the covering unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An ultraviolet sterilizer is provided to prevent an electric motor from being contacted with moisture by sealing the electric motor in a space separated from a chamber and to prevent extraneous matter separated from a quartz pipe from being accumulated in the chamber by the air injection into the chamber, thereby improving water treatment efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet sterilizer comprises a barrel type chamber(10), a quartz pipe(20), an extraneous matter removal unit, a drive unit, a separator(30), and a rotary unit. Multiple quartz pipes are installed inside a chamber in the width direction of the inside of the chamber, and respectively accommodate a ultra-violet ray lamp irradiating ultraviolet light on the treated water. The extraneous matter removal unit is installed inside chamber in order to remove the extraneous matter adhering to the outer circumferential surface of the quartz pipes. The drive unit includes an electric motor(60) to operate the multiple extraneous matter removal units to reciprocate in the longitudinal direction of the quartz pipes. The separator adheres to one side of the chamber, forms an accommodation chamber(37) separated from the inside of the chamber and accommodates the electric motor in the accommodation chamber to protect from the electric motor to contact to water. A moving unit moves the extraneous matter separated from the quartz pipes by the extraneous matter removal units to be precipitated inside the chamber.
