Abstract: 본 발명은 (A)적어도 하나의 알킬벤젠과 (B)적어도 하나의 폴리올 에스테르의 배합물을 포함하는, 하이드로플루오로탄소 및 선택적으로는 하이드로클로로플루오로탄소 냉각제의 배합물에 대한 윤활성 원료베이스에 관한 것이다. 알킬벤젠은 냉각 시스템 또는 에어컨 시스템의 목적한 작업 온도 및 압력에서 냉각제 배합물과 혼화성이 아니지만, 폴리올 에스테르를 낮은 농도로 첨가하면 알킬벤젠과 폴리올 에스테르 배합물의 혼화성이 크게 향상되는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 발명의 중요한 기준은 폴리올 에스테르와 알킬벤젠의 윤활제 배합물이 압축 냉각 시스템의 작업 온도에서 액체 및 기체 냉각제 둘다로서의 하이드로플루오로탄소 냉각제 배합물과 충분하게 혼화성이 되는 것이다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lubricating basestock for the blends of hydrofluorocarbon and optionally hydrochlorofluorocarbon refrigerants comprising a blend of (A) at least one alkylbenzene and (B) at least one polyol ester. While alkylbenzenes are not miscible with the refrigerant blend at the desired operating temperature and pressure of refrigeration or air-conditioning systems, the addition of low concentration of polyol ester is found to greatly improve the miscibility of the alkylbenzene and polyol ester blend. An important criteria of the invention is that the lubricant blend of polyol ester and alkylbenzene are sufficiently miscible with the hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant blend both as a liquid and a gaseous refrigerant over the operational temperatures of the compression refrigeration system.
