Abstract: A lubricant composition comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity, an amino-functionalized acrylic or methacrylic-containing polymer, comprising about 2 percent to about 8 percent by weight of an amine moiety bearing a tertiary amino group, attached to said polymer through an ester, amide, or imide linkage; and a nitrogen-containing dispersant, provides reduced friction to an internal combustion engine and improved fuel economy.
