본 발명은 고분자 분산형 액정 표시장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 광원에서 발생한 빛이 고분자 분산형 액정 표시 소자부를 투과할 때 발생되는 광손실을 최소화하고 높은 휘도의 이미지나 문자 등을 제공할 수 있는 고분자 분산형 액정 표시장치에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명에 따른 고분자 분산형 액정 표시장치는 제1기판과 상기 제1기판 바닥면에 형성된 제1투명전극과 상기 제1투명전극 바닥면에 형성된 고분자 분산형 액정과 상기 고분자 분산형 액정 바닥면에 형성된 제2투명전극과 상기 제2투명전극 바닥면에 형성된 제2기판과 상기 제2기판 바닥면에 형성된 접착층과 상기 접착층 바닥면에 형성된 광원을 포함하되, 상기 제2기판과 상기 접착층 사이와 상기 제1기판 상부에 적어도 하나의 고굴절율층이 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A polymer dispersed liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce the angle of refraction of the light passing through a polymer dispersed liquid crystal display part by using a high refractive index layer formed in a first or a second substrate. CONSTITUTION: A first transparent electrode(110) is formed in the bottom surface of the first substrate(100). Polymer dispersed liquid crystal(300) is formed in the bottom surface of the first transparent electrode. A second transparent electrode(210) is formed in the bottom surface of the polymer dispersed liquid crystal. A second substrate(200) is formed in the bottom surface of the second transparent electrode. A bonding layer(50) is formed in the bottom surface of the second substrate. A light source(20) is formed in the bottom surface of the bonding layer. A high refractive index layer(400) is formed in the upper part of the second substrate and between the bonding layer and the first substrate.

PURPOSE: A reflective prism using phase delay materials is provided to simplify a process through a protection effect of a transparent resin layer in a prism shape. CONSTITUTION: A prism-shaped transparent polymer layer is prepared. A protective polymer film for protecting the polymer layer is prepared. The protective polymer film and a transparent resin layer are rubbed. Double refraction phase delay materials are coated on the prism-shaped transparent polymer layer. The rubbed surface of the polymer film is covered on the transparent polymer layer on which the double refraction phase delay materials are coated. The phase delay material layer coated on the prism-shaped transparent polymer layer is annealed to be well-aligned by the rubbed protective polymer film. PURPOSE: A polymer composition for a polymer dispersed liquid crystal is provided to provide a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal composite film with improved adhesion after UV curing, by using a diluting agent with excellent adhesion. CONSTITUTION: A prepolymer composition includes 0.1-20 wt% of a polyfunctional oligomer, 0.1-99 wt% of a diluting agent, 0.1-99 wt5 of a crosslinking agent, and 0.1-99 wt% of a photoinitiator. The diluting agent and crosslinking agent has a composition ratio of 30:1-99:1. The polyfunctional oligomer is a urethane-based methacrylate derivative compound. The diluting agent is 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate. The crosslinking agent is selected from 1,6-hexanedioldiacrylate and polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate. The photoinitiator is 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenyl-propan-1-one.

CONSTITUTION: A prepolymer composition for polymer dispersed liquid crystal, using oligomers comprises 0.1-20 wt% of a polyfunctional oligomer, 0.1-99 wt% of a diluting agent, 0.1-99 wt% of a crosslinking agent, and 0.1-99 wt% of a photoinitiator. The composition ratio of the diluting agent and the crosslinking agent is 30:1-99:1. The polyfunctional oligomer is a urethane-based acrylate derivative compound containing an aliphatic silane. The diluting agent is tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate. The crosslinking agent is tripropylene glycol diacrylate or dipropylene glycol diacrylate. The photoinitiator is IRGACURE 2022.
