    Abstract: A concealed object detecting system and a method using passive millimeter waves are provided to increase detection accuracy by approximately scanning an object and to make the structure small by forming a millimeter wave image obtaining device attached with a directional antenna without using a millimeter wave focus lens. A concealed object detecting system using passive millimeter waves comprises a millimeter wave concealed object sensing unit(100) and image output devices(22,23). And, the sensing unit obtains the millimeter wave image by equally splitting the object regardless of the scanning speed of a researcher. The image output devices receive the image signal obtained by the millimeter wave concealed object sensing unit by wireless and display the received image signal.
