Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart eye patch for sleep apnea patients and to a method for protecting sleep apnea patients using the same. More specifically, in the smart eye patch of the present invention, a first part includes a temperature sensor (11), a TFT-LCD (12), an MCU (13), an A/D conversion part (14), an I/O interface part (15), a USB terminal (16), a memory (17), an alarm generating part (18), a battery part (19a) and a TFT-LCD attaching terminal (19b) wherein the alarm generating part (18) has a speaker (18a) and an LED display part (18b), and the MCU (13) detects changes of temperature through the temperature sensor (11) formed in a respiratory system connecting tube (19c) when users breathe in the eye patch.
