Abstract: A web-based real-time sound source editing system and a method thereof are provided to generate music information on the web in real time or to edit the generated music information. A terminal(100) provides sound source editing authentication information to a predetermined sound source editing server(430), demands authentication on sound source editing, and generates or edits a sound source according to a sound source editing program, then provides the sound source to the editing server. The editing server provides the program to the terminal, and stores the sound source generated or edited according to the program.
