    Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic temperature detectable opening and closing valve using a shape memory alloy wire and a valve opening and closing method are provided to supply hot water to a hot water supply facility without additional electrical facilities because a path is opened and closed by a shape memory alloy wire varying according to the temperature of fluid. CONSTITUTION: An automatic temperature detectable opening and closing valve comprises a body(110), an elastic spring(121), and a blocking member. The body comprises a chamber with an inlet and an outlet. The elastic spring is formed by a shape memory alloy and is flexibly changed while contacting to fluid flowing into the chamber. When the temperature of the fluid is reached at a predetermined temperature, the elastic spring is contracted. When the temperature is less than the predetermined temperature, the elastic spring is expanded. The blocking member opens the outlet of the chamber when the elastic spring is contracted, and closes the outlet of the chamber when the elastic spring is expanded.
