Abstract: 본 발명은 지골피 추출물을 함유하는 골대사 질환 예방 및 골 기능 개선을 위한 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 지골피 추출물을 포함하는 조성물은 골대사에 영향을 미치는 세포의 증식을 촉진하면서 조골세포 분화 활성을 유도하고 골다공증 동물 모델에서의 골밀도 개선 효과를 가짐으로써 뼈 형성과 관련된 질환의 예방 및 치료 효과를 가진다. 따라서, 본 발명의 지골피 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물은 골대사 관련 질환, 예를 들어 골다공증, 골감소증, 골연화증, 칼슘조절 이상, 즉 고칼슘혈증, 저칼슘혈증의 예방 및 골기능 개선을 위한 약학적 제제 또는 기능성 식품으로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing bone metabolism-related diseases and alleviating bone function containing a mixed extract of Lycium root bark and Dispsacus asper wall. The composition containing a mixed extract of Lycium root bark and Dispsacus asper wall according to the present invention promotes proliferation of cells which affect bone metabolism, activates differentiation of osteoblast, and improves bone density in an animal test with ovariectomized mice which are an animal model of osteoporosis, thereby having an effect of preventing and treating diseases related to bone formation.
