Abstract: PURPOSE: A hydrophobic anhydrous cosmetic composition of pressed powder containing particles phase comprising hydrophilic micropowder is provided, which is produced easily and cost-effectively. The composition, 'two-way cake', is used as a dried state or with water; shows good cosmetic property; and lasts for a long time while wearing. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of hydrophobic anhydrous cosmetic composition of pressed powder comprises steps of: preparing phase A comprising hydrophobic talc; preparing phase B comprising 20-35wt.% of hydrophilic molecular compound (e.g., hydrophilic oxidized ferrous, hydrophilic mica, hydrophilic titan dioxide, hydrophilic colors, hydrophilic magnesia, hydrophilic bismuth oxychloride); preparing phase C containing hydrophobic binders; mixing the phase A and the Phase B, and adding the phase C; pulverizing the mixture, screening, and compacting without any other coating process for a micropowder compound.
