Abstract: PURPOSE: An enhanced nail varnish brush which is appropriate for applying a nail varnish agent to an aqueous medium and an application package comprising the nail varnish brush are provided CONSTITUTION: A nail brush comprises a brush for make-up or cosmetic products comprising a tuft(2) of almost parallel hairs(3) and one end of the hairs(3) is bound to an isolated end(4a) of a stick(4), wherein the tuft(2) of hairs(3) is surface-immersed in partly acetylated polyvinyl alcohol comprising more than one unit of the following formula 1 and 2, where the unit of the formula 2 regarding the polymer exists in a ratio of 3-40 mol.% and the polyvinyl alcohol has an average molecular weight of 10,000-190,000. The application package for the nail varnish or nail-care products comprises: (i) a brush(1); (ii) a tuft(2); (iii) hairs(3); (iv) a stick(4); (v) a sleeve(5); (vi) a neck(7); (vii) a container(8); and (viii) a nail varnish product(9).
