Abstract: PURPOSE: A keratin fiber make-up composition containing at least one wax and a mixture of at least one nonionic surfactant and anionic surfactant and a gelling polymer is provided. The utilization of the composition can provide make-up results for charging of keratin fibers, in particular eyelashes and eyebrows, or the separation thereof, depending upon the need. CONSTITUTION: The make-up composition for keratin fiber comprises: 0.1 to 40% by weight of wax having a melting point of 45 deg.C or more; 0.01 to 30% by weight of at least one ionic surfactant, 0.01 to 40% by weight of at least one nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of at least 8 at 25 deg.C; and 0.1 to 60% by weight of a gelling polymer and has a solids content of at least 45.5% by weight and a plateau modulus of rigidity Gp of 5500 to 60,000 Pa. The ionic surfactant contains at least triethanolamine stearate. The nonionic surfactant is selected from oxyethylenated and/or oxypropylenated fatty acid alcohol, fatty acid ether of polyethylene glycol, oxyethylenated and/or oxypropylenated glycerol ether, oxyethylenated and/or oxypropylenated sorbitol ether, a copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide and a mixture thereof.
