Abstract: Two-step mascara articles and a process for applying the same are provided to have more thickness at applying to an eyelash and to be more water-proof and less jammed than using a washable or waterproof mascara solely. The two-step mascara articles(10) comprise a first reservoir(14) containing the washable mascara composition; a second reservoir(16) containing the waterproof mascara; and one or more applying device comprising a first and a second applying member(18,20) for applying the each mascara composition. The process for applying the two-step mascara articles to the eyelash comprises the steps of: applying the washable mascara composition to the eyelash; and then applying the waterproof mascara composition to the eyelash.
