    Abstract: A method for dyeing a keratinous fiber and a multi-compartment apparatus are provided to improve the resistance against various attacks applied to hair, such as shampoos, light, sweat, and permanent deformation, and perform predictable dye on the keratinous fiber with various, powerful, chromatic, attractive, and very unselective shades. A keratinous fiber is dyed by applying a mixture of a first composition and a second composition under an oxidizing agent. The second composition is selected from a fundamental dyeing composition, a golden fundamental dyeing composition, and a golden dyeing composition. The first composition comprises at least one coupler, which is selected from 6-chloro-2-methyl-5-aminophenol and salts thereof, and at least one oxidation base, which is derived from one of diamino-N,N-dihydropyrazolone and salts thereof or 2,3-diamino-6,7-dihydro-1H,5H-pyrazolo[1,2-a]pyrazole-1-on and salts thereof.
