Abstract: PURPOSE: A mixed silicate dispersed in acidic aqueous medium is provided, which makes epidermis of the skin smooth immediately so, which is used as a tightening agent among anti-wrinkle cosmetic composition. CONSTITUTION: Provided is an anti wrinkle cosmetic composition contain 0.5-10 wt.% of mixed silicate which form a homogeneous film transmitting the water vapor and contract the stratum corneum by more than 1.5 % at 30°C and the relative humidity of 40 % by applying concentrate thereof being 3% into water in the acidic aqueous medium, and drying. The average size of mixed silicate particles is 15-1000 nm. The mixed silicate contains many kinds of cation selected from akali metal such as Na, Li and K, or alkali earth metal such as Be, Mg and Ca, or transition metal.
