Abstract: PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition comprising a compound having a melting peak with a mid-height width of 10 deg.C or less and an amorphous film-forming polymer capable of forming a water-soluble film in a pharmacologically acceptable medium is provided. It improves an eyelash curling, exhibits excellent cosmetic characteristics and can be used by the combination with a heating device such as a heating brush, in which the device can be applied to the eyelash before, during or after coating the eyelash with the composition. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition consists of: (i)1 to 60% by weight of at least one first compound giving a thermal profile having a melting peak of a mid-height width Lf of 10deg.C or less to the composition; and (ii) at least one amorphous film-forming polymer which present in a amount at least equal to the amount of the first compound in a pharmacologically acceptable medium. The first compound is selected from wax, a semi-crystalline polymer, oil thickened with a structuring agent and a mixture thereof. The semi-crystalline polymer is selected from at least one monomer and copolymers formed by polymerization of at least one fluorinated or not fluorinated C1-10 monocarboxylic acid ester or amide of the formula 1. In formula, R1 is H or CH3, R is fluorinated or not fluorinated C1-10 alkyl, X is O, NH or NR2(R2 is fluorinated or not fluorinated C1-10 alkyl).
